The Lapel Village Fair is fast approaching, the members of the Lapel Community Association are working hard behind the scenes to make this year's fair as seamless and perfect as usual.
The LCA has confirmed they have sold all food vendor spots, and have sold 35 craft and vendor booths.
Booth space is still available for more information visit http://lapelvillagefair.com/vendor.asp (including registration form).
The LCA has also met its funding goal for the Doug Anderson concert with $2500 of the $4000 needed already submitted and promises for the remaining $1500 from several sponsors.
Although I imagine if you would like to help sponsor the Doug Anderson concert (sponsors will get their name and/or business logo on a banner that will be near the stage for the concert) you can contact Donna Lawther at Town Hall and see about sponsoring this year's concert.
Jimmie Howell is confirmed as the Grand Marshall, and work is continuing to secure an honorary guest for the parade.
Talks are progressing on including a Wounded Warrior booth run by the Madison County chapter of the Wounded Warriors charity. More information at http://www.woundedwarriorhomefront.org/
